Okay so I'll have about $700 once the child support paycheck comes in... (before that, I'll have ~$640)

What should I get?

I wanted to get a new nvidia GTX 480 ($500), but I think I may wait a little while for that.
I need a new radiator for my liquid cooling setup, too.

I don't know what to buy, though. Should I hold out on the GTX 480 and just buy other stuff? Ahhh.

My mom gives me some of it.
I'm kinda thinking of getting my monitor, HDMI cable, new radiator, and 3 fans and then waiting till I get another $150 then buying the GTX 480.

Keep you PC as cold as possible, and go for the GFX card.

Yeah. I'm still trying to stabilize my cpu at ANYTHING other than stock speeds... it's getting ridiculous.

My CPU temps are fine, but I still want lower. That's why I'm getting a better rad. I might still use the one I have, too, if I can find somewhere...

kicks get one of those mini fridges or freezers and mod the radiator inside that so that the cooler in it stays nice and cold

not a good idea. then u have ice build up or something of the nature that will short something
also when things get cold they contract and get smaller now thing what that can do on varrious components

Kay. Decided on...

Two Asus 24" 1920x1080 monitors
New coolant
New tubing
Triple 120mm Radiator
7 120x12mm fans (1 for the top of my case and 3 for each side of the Rad)
Radbox for mounting the radiator outside my case

Then, once I get a job I'm saving up for the new GTX 480.
Once I sell my laptop and my current CPU, I'll have enough for the new i7 980x (6 cores, 3.33GHz stock).

Here is a thermaltake 120mm rad, this is what i have in mine. It runs awesome, ive never had any problems with it. Also ya you should go take an A+ test, its easy as hell as long as your some what into computers. I think it cost like $75 to take, if you fail then obviously you dont get your money back. You can take it at a local college. I took mine at palomar college in CA, free because military paid for it.

ALUMINUM. No thanks. Aluminum radiators suck. That's why I'm not getting the Antec 200mm radiator, too. Well...that's not true. It's not so much that they suck, It's that you should never mix metal types. I have a copper base CPU block. The new coolant I'm getting has additives to prevent corrosion from both Aluminum and Copper, but I still probably won't take any chances.

I've got a Swiftech 120mm rad, albeit it sucks, and it gets the job done.
I'll be using this along with the new triple 120mm Black Ice radiator I'm getting, with 6 Scythe fans running on it in a push/pull effect.

Lol its not mixing metals... Its the fins that are aluminum and the tubes are copper. Ive had this system for about 3 years now and works amazing.

different name. You said your using a copper block, and you want a copper radiator. Just because it has aluminum on the radiator does not mean the your liquid touches the aluminum... The liquid is still gonna run through the copper lines, so therefore your not mixing metals. O ya btw im not trying to sound like a

I'll look into it more. I'm mainly just concerned about the Antec 200mm rad. It's Aluminum/Composite Aluminum.

sighhhh... its not mixing metals if you have a copper block with a radiator that has copper lines running through it, im not saying that this rad is the best one. Im just saying you can get any radiator that has copper lines running through it. Btw what size lines are you gonna run? 1/2?

Ya 1/2" are really hard to move around. I had to get a few elbow fittings to get my 1/2" lines to run the way i wanted them to, and i have a huge full tower shark case.

Just ordered the 2 monitors, a gold plated HDMI cable, and a gold plated DVI/HDMI adapter.

Yayyy. $404 total. $199/ea for the monitors and they each have $10 mail in rebates.
