My newest jtag beast
« on: June 30, 2010, 11:13:44 PM »
This is a zephyr that i bought for like $30.  Had the rrod and i had to reflow it a couple times, but now its all good.  It has a 320gb hard drive, 3mm and 5mm leds, 120mm fan with a sweet ass fan guard, i also upgraded the heatsinks that i took out of a jasper.  Its got xexmenu, freestyle dash 1.20, and quite a bit of other awesomness.  I still gotta fix the white trim a little and paint the hard drive cast.

A jtag can use pretty much any kind of hard drive you put on it.  Also you will need a reflow station to do a proper reflow.

Is the GPU heatsink the style where the capacitors are also cooled in front of the CPU?

Yup, there the heatsinks that cool the caps.  There so awesome, they work way better that the oldschool xenon heatsinks
