Need some 360 case painting help...

Ok guys I have asked a couple times in the chatbox and haven't gotten a reply yet to help me, so I figured I'd post a thread up so everyone has a chance to see it.

Ok I am wanting to paint my xbox 360 case, faceplate, ect. But I ran into a little trouble with the power button on the faceplate. I can't seem to remove the clear plastic for the power symbol so I don't paint over it. All I need is to know how you guys removed it or painted the button with it still on? Below I posted a pic with exactly what I mean so I don't confuse any of you:

cover it up with somthing iam not a expert on paint lol

Agreed! Maybe it take you more time becuase the power symbol is small but with time and patience i am sure you will do it

Good masking tape (not too sticky), or some vinyl, and a craft knife should do the trick.

I used white then after the paint dried i scrapped it off.

sand down the part that sticks the little see through piece on and it will come right off and you can put it back without any problems
