hey new and have questions

i just bought a psp 2001 and was wondering what mods i could do to it and the utilities i would need like:
what kind of soldering iron would be best
what kind of solder
what kind of wire
and anything else you think i would need thanks!

ps: if there is already a post for this and if you could point me in that direction it would be greatly appreciated!

welcome to acidmods the psp has very small components most of which are heat simcitive. use a 15 watt iron
very small guage solder
 30 gage kynar or wrapping wire
FLUX paste
paitince

aurf the site for mod iideas or think of yoour own and see if you can get it done post progress and ask quextions along the way

Glad to see that you are eager to jump in. As Matt said if you have questions just ask and make sure to read through the Tut sections for some cool ideas. If you have an idea, but don't know how to pull it off just ask the people around here are always willing to help out..
