i have a 1986 mini mayfair....  it requires very regular maintenance. so i do it myself most of the time.....  and yeah i like... getting coverd in oil.... but also yeah if it wasa job with cars like that i'd blantently wear the glove's

LOL! actually, yes, I just realized that yesterday, I have a bunch of SLR photos and realized I posted the wrong ones, I meant to post the photos of the SLR 722 (special edition, cabrio and different badging, but you could only buy one by invitation and only got the invite if you already one, kinda like the Enzo), I'll find them and post em soon...

I know the I thought the gloves were a little silly at first but they save a ton of time through the course of the day...

The hobnob box... that thing is kinda crazy, Hobnob is a mobile wifi provider, solid wifi access nationwide, where ever he gets driven to (maybachs aren't the kinda car you drive yourself around in, you get a driver) he has secure high speed internet access, if he had an ethernet connector in the passenger compartment he could get gigabit speeds...

well, you're entitled to your opinion, I'm not necessarily a huge fan of their styling either, but that's just my opinion. as far as pure luxury goes, imo they are the best (and no I'm not biased because I work for them, I've driven literally every manufacturer out there from Daewoo to Bentley, Porsche to Ferrari, and it's difficult to compare to a benz overall), style isn't everything. IMO style doesn't matter when you're doing 130mph in a 550hp v8 sedan, your seat feels like a lazy-boy, and the car is as responsive as a high end track setup. I do wish they still made an actual manual trans though...

as far as my sig, it was a problem and imo still kind of is (what's the point? everyone see's your username right next to the post you make so why the crazy sigs?). but, whatever, it's not my site and I no longer have a say in things here so, whatever, that's my form of protest against the ridiculousness, I guess...

on topic...
the funky box with the wires that's in the trunk is the hobnob box, and yeah I would imagine it's not cheap, but I don't think Dell is to concerned about the cost if he owns 2 $400k cars (yes he has two of those maybachs)...

so apparently some of these pics might be considered by some specific individuals to be a 'security risk'... I don't see how, there's no license plate shown, this vehicle has been photographed many times by others, and the black/grey color combination is one of the most popular Maybach color combos out there, and I haven't done anything illegal by posting them (at least not that I know of), so I don't see what the problem is...

Well I'm currently researching my legal rights regarding the photos, though based on what I've read, I'm fairly certain I was within my rights to take and share the photos... We'll see what the lawyer says... If I'm within my rights then the photos will stay unless Mr. Dell personally asks otherwise, if not then I will immediately remove them and issue an apology...

Personally Jr, I think that there is nothing they can do about these posted pics,  Unless there were signs posted at the time you took them. Like No video recorders or cell phone or cameras, these care seem to be in a shop that you were able to access, I have worked in Prototype shops and etc. and usually, Its made well known before anyone comes in the building they usually have to sign a waiver that there will be nothing taken or things of such sort left at the front desk..

and if the Mr.DELL ask you to remove them I am sure that you would. but I myself see no harm done.


EDIT: These pics were taken anywhere from March of 2008 to October of 2009. its almost 2012, well the 2012 models come out in september of 2011, so what harm was really done here,

If it was a 2012 car that had been posted and no one wanted it to be realeased to the public I could see them throughing a fuss about it.
