Help Please

I'm on KMEAW 3.55 CFW & using Multiman 2.01 with BDEMU 2 & I have been trying to boot NBA Elite 11 from my internal hard drive but for some reason I kept getting a black screen even though I installed the original eboot & Param.SFO, so I decided to use my external hard drive & the game booted up but then I got this message "Game Data is required to play NBA Elite 11 and will be installed now. Please do not turn off your PS3 system while data is being written" can I click OK on this or will this get rid of my CFW?

I'm not sure Toad , but I think his question was a legal one. There is nothing pirate about booting games you own from hdd. And I'm not sure but isn't modding games ok? I modd games sometimes, just to add stuff in, example I modded "Brink" from first person shooter to 3rd person like gears. Changing code or files can't be bad? We don't know where he got the game, he might have backed up an original copy.

OK I AGREE to what denali said, it doesnt sound like hes trying to do anything Illegal, sounds to me he just wants to be able to play his orignal game off of the hard drive that he copied the game too and is haveing a problem getting it to load.

and jailbreaking the ps3 isnt no different then a flashed drive on a xbox 360 so I would say this topic wasnt a problem unless me or denali missed something in the quesiton he was asking.

So my reply to his question is this ... yes you can install game data without affecting you cfw. 2 things to stay away from for messages from your ps3.... 1 PS3 update. Never hit ok. 2 game updates. Sometimes its ok sometimes its not, to be safe I just don't update the game.

Toad my good "sir".... He has a legit question. Its not like hes getting on here asking if he can download a bunch of pirated material. Just as Rodent said, its just like a flashed xbox 360. There is a thin line when it comes to determining whats legal and whats, not hence "flashed xboxs" There technically not illegal, same as a "cfw or jailbroken ps3"
