Sup guys im new to this forums starting back to get into rapid fire modding so my question is based on what i learned on this site this is the chip used but why this version what does the i/p mean

I/P is the temperature/packaging.

there are two rated temperature ranges I=industrial E=extended

The second half represents what packaging option the chip comes in.  P=Pdip  SS=ssop SO=soic ect.   all this information is in the electrical specifications and package specs of the associated spec sheet.
