What I started with, (1) PS2 70012 model, (1) Polaroid Portable dvd player.

Proof of concept does work before the fabrication takes place.

Little bit of mock up, I had to use the dvd mainboard because the chip that controls the horizontal and vertical sync for lcd is on it, but its ok because now I can utilize the headphone speakers and volume control anyway, so thats cool, plus I can use the dvd players battery.

Soldering in the mcboot memory card.

Overall thickness comparison without the case.

Vague layout configuration.

Thanks, I hope to have it finished by the end of year, Im trying to figure out a housing solution, I have some ideas but its going to be a lot of time involved.

Yea my goal is to keep it thin as possible, so its a true ps2p slim :D, I ditched the disc drive to accomplish that and went with mcboot so I can load games from a flash drive that I will connect to one of the usb ports, it will end up being a little thicker with housing but I think it will still be about as thin as possible when finished.
