psp 2000 in 1000 housing

I really like the 64mb ram and tv port thingies on the slim, but i hate the housing, it is just way too slim for me (and i cant say that my hands are big, the flat bottom just doesn't feel properly)
What would be other suggestions?

the psp 2000 will not fit into the psp 1000 housing.

for alternatives you can try buying a silicone psp protector. that will increase the overall thickness of the console. or just a clear plastic protective case.
