You guys know I never disappoint when it comes to modding. If I say I'm gonna do something, it gets done.

I'm not sure if I want to add leds yet though...

What i'm thinking of doing is buying a red digitizer, a gold midplate, and red aluminum blackpate.  Dremel out the apple logo, and put white leds behind it, and some red leds hooked up to the speaker. It would kind of look like an ironman iPhone.

you get the clear backplate from china this time or use nailpolish remover or similar to get the paint off

And yeah the backplate is from china lol. Just unscrew, slide, install. Much easier.

I would be careful using nail polish remover ( contains acetone) can have weird effects on plastic It could be worse with clear plastic, I used some of that stuff on a black xbox 360 controller and it turned it white, also can make plastics floppy ( My first attempt to get paint of a controller ), I am not sure what else you could use, but I would avoid acetone

The iPhone 4 and 4S back housings are compromised of two pieces.  A piece of glass, and plastic that secures the glass to the phone. They are sealed together. Heat them up with a heat gun, and they come right apart. The glass is painted. You can use nail polish remover, or paint thinner on the glass and it takes the paint right away. Bam. See through iPhone.

I'm sure it would be fine to use on the iPhone glass.

Ahh! Well My clear backplate broke! Darn Cheap Chinese parts!!!

I have a MUCH better mod coming now. I told some of you about it about a month ago. Now I finally might go through it.

The Gold Antenna Band Middle Plate just came out for 4S!!! >

So I plan on using a Red Digitizer, Gold Band, And maybe Aluminum Red backplate.  Make a clear apple logo, and add leds. Taadaa! Ironman iPhone 4S! I might be able to sell it for a decent sum of money, no?

I expect you all to check it out when I am done!

I'd go with frosted apple logo do that it diffuses the light. And it shure would sell well especially if you jb it when it's available and put an ironman theme on it.
