New PSP Battery Board (Model S110)
« on: January 29, 2012, 08:04:49 AM »
Ok so recently i was reading a tut on how to hardmod a psp battery to Pandora. So i decided to give it a go. and as i opened my battery i noticed something diffrent...

So ill post you some pics and lets you see what i found for yourselves.

So it seems that Sony has reverted to the old style of battery board... could this mean they have reverted the psp motherboard as well? And could there be a chance to truely add CFW to a psp 3000?

My first mod on a psp was a hard mod pandora. WARNING I was unable to revert the battery back to normal after. But I was just a fledgling then.
That being said...
Are you planing on trying a hard mod on a 3000 battery?

yes. i had this battery just lying around with no use i could think of and i thought why not try to put it to some use?

so imma find the ground on what appears to be the EEPROM chip and disconnect it.

i do believe the 5th pin is the ground correct?

I see one problem with this. Even if the battery can be made into a pandora, the 3000 i believe can't be jigged that way , it will brick.
