Scene This Controller PCB Board Before ?
« on: March 17, 2012, 12:56:07 PM »
Hey guys just wanted to post this up. Any of you seen this controller PCB board before ?
I know it's not a Microsoft brand, It has the rumble motors solder to the board like the ps3 controllers,
I bought it for $10 brand new for some dude. Im going to see
what I can do to it. I doubt that rapid will work on this, but i can pimp it out with some LED's tho.

ah I see. Well all the buttons, triggers etc.. from a microsoft controller fit this one, so
I can customize it even better... There pretty legit tho. It would of been cool, if they were really
cheap to buy, and have some way RF work on it.

Thats exactly the same... chrome guide button. Its pretty legit tho. Even for a off brand.
There better then the madcatz third party controllers.
I added some Blue LED's just to make it look a lil bit better, on thumb sticks, triggers & bottom mic trim
I wanted to add more, but the board wouldn't support more, I tried adding all resistors but still wouldn't. so just had to stick with 8 LED's :( damn !

Looks good, For the LED thumbsticks do you just put the LEDs in the crevises of the joysticks pointing up?

They are still analog triggers. RF will work on them, you just have to measure how the voltage swings and pick the right code from there.

Yeah there the same type of a regular microsoft controller. Getting the volatge is the problem
on this one, cause this controller doesn't get the power from the other ones like CG & CG2.
It gives power from 3 or 4 spots. But each one gives higher & higher voltage.

Not what I meant. I mean that the wipers on the triggers are the same, so there is no reason why any rapidfire would not work.
