MAdCatz Controller Led Button Mod

I got this controller super cheap with a console i had bought. Figured i would do some type of mod for it. these controllers are pretty cheap to pick up secondhand.  Push button lighting will be done on the abxy and then will work from there ... just thought i would share with you guys.. cheap controller , little bit of time and I am hoping to turn this cheap controller in to something worth wild to sell...  the abxy buttons come apart in two pieces makes 3mm leds fit right in the lower part of the buttong i tried to take a pic , camera just wont focus on small stuff

Still working on this but just to show some progres
There is very litte room in this controller . I noticed that when i tighted the screws up all the leds come on :( and sucks due to I didnt add any glue to the out side of the buttons to hold the leds in place.. its just that tight that the slightest contact makes them light up :(

yea it works but the controller doesn't have much space in there so when i tighten the screws they all lite up.. when i get some time i will try to rework it.

Taking your time and thinking over placement of components can do wonders, so a rebuild is probably a good thing. I had to do it more than once when I did my controllers, just to get the perfect fit so nothing get pinched, and everything works smoothly as it should. Most problematic was the Dpad with led on my 3rd controller (no video of it yet), because the LED touched the dpad rubber mat, and made right on dpad a little quirky, I had to push a little down right to get it to work. But a few tweaks I finally got things together to work well.
