need help xbox 360 slim drive

sup guys so i bought a xbox 360 and it had the red dot of death. so i did a reflow and it took away the red dot but when putting the system back together to just test it i accidentally put the dvd drive wires backwards . thinking it would be the same as the old xbox 360s.

i heard a pop and spark and the dvd drive has a burt part on it. is this xbox just done?

can i retrieve the dvd key with out the drive?
should i try to replace the burnt piece ?

also its the shiny black slim not the matte black looking one

the xbox itself should still be fine. you might even be able to retrieve the dvd key still from the burnt drive board. if not, then you can rgh it to obtain the dvd key. if you dont feel like rghing it yourself, i can do it for you at a price.

Ok thanks for the news . I know how to rgh it I jus wanted to make sure I can get the key like that or see if I can get it with the burnt drive .
