GODFATHER rapid fire kit review
« on: January 08, 2013, 09:15:25 AM »
start off by saying thank you king mike for sending me this so i can check out and review
here is the godfather rapid fire board i received

parts needed:
solder iron
30awg
tact switch of your choice with drill bit to drill a hole on the back of the controller
glue..i used hot glue to hold down the tact switch worked perfect
pros:
cost effective
optional leds with several different modes leds look killer at night
easy install
tons of modes and easy to switch between them
quick way to turn the mod on and off
cons:
if you get the optional led godfather kit you will need a clear shell so the leds can shine through the controller
now i dont have one to fully get the experience of the leds but i ordered a shell already and should be arriving soon
and no led on the thumbstick area but then again the led godfather is badass also
other then that not many complaints

the godfather kit comes with all the modes you need

over all experience is im pretty darn happy with it really no issues so far
pm king mike and ask for details on the kit

PS I WILL BE GIVING THIS AWAY TO AN ACTIVE AM MEMBER SOON WILL BE PICKING SOMEONE AT RANDOM

If were talking about the white ribbon circut Godfather mod, Does anyone happen to kno what solder point the tac wire goes to. The wire from the board or mod to the TAc switch. I purchased a controller for christmas last year for my son. However, he never really played with it because he couldnt figure it out. But, that wasnt the case at all. The wire coming from tac to mod, fell off the mod. I personally use the arbiter 3.5 mod and solder multiple of them in. But I always used the sync button as the tac, thus leaving me clueless to where the solder point is on the mod/board. Any help would be appreciated. Can upload pics if needed. Thanx. I have till late tuesday before my son is going back to his mothers do I would like to fix it by then. Thanx everyone.

bt=button = tact switch =  sinc button.

All that needs to happen is for the BT pad on the chip to receive a ground signal. I used the Dpad right for mine. but it can be any button.
