LED heat?
« on: December 23, 2013, 07:23:33 PM »
I plan to put a LED under the volume button since the light glows thru the cable and it looks good. The LED generates alot of heat though. Should I be worried?

Later:
Finished it up and looks cool.

um yes its generally bad if the led generates alot of heat mainly means itll work but itll eventually burn out and you will have to replace it
did you try using a resistor or how did you hook it up?

I didnt use resistors, this is hooked up to the battery connector cause I couldnt find any points to put the led.

yes you can also snip off the leg of a resistor cut it down to size and just bridge it or you can use wire same thing
