diy led rings

hey guys after trying to source some led rings to do led thumbsticks it was a complete fail
decide to make my own but my measurements were way off they were to dam huge
can any assist me on finding out the correct measurements so i can try again
i need it to be in mm as its easier for me
i dont have a xbox controller atm to take measurements
plus my girls are out shopping for the day and i have tons of free time today

For the 360 controller's sticks the PCBs will need an ID of 12mm, then an OD of 20.5mm or so. They will also need to be made from the 0.6mm size PCB material or Flex.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

I am interested in these if we can make them affordable.  It will need to incorporate a voltage regulator atleast or a charge pump to step up the voltage would even be better.
