RSX dont work. Need to solder it somehow ._.
« on: June 07, 2020, 02:39:41 AM »
Hi. I repaired 2 of 3 Controller so far but this one was the first one i tried to repair and made some horrible mistakes. I later looked up the forum and found diagramms about the traces and stuff but i srsly cant solder the right stick to work the right way.

Can someone help me out an tell me how to solder the 3 broken contacts on the right stick?

The RSX dont work ATM. I tried a few things out soldering it to TP65 or TP66 but i still made some mistakes.

Ty for your help!

RSX is dead because you have removed TP66 from the board and the trace runs thru that to get to the MCU board. You'll need to solder a jumper wire from the RSX POT lead to the MCU board solder joint just above where TP66 was located. It's the 4th solder joint from the corner there.

Also, you were not soldering onto TP65, that is TP16. TP65 is the one to the right of the TP65 marking, the one under the antenna.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
