Xbox One Elite 1698 - D-PAD problem
« on: June 20, 2022, 10:30:04 AM »
Hello. Gamepad Elite version 1 (1698). J1 was damaged. The d-pad does not work correctly (I was restoring the connector, I had to remove it again.). On J1: 2 - DR, 3 - DU, 4 - DD, 5 - DL there is a voltage of about 1 V. J1:1 - 3,5 V; J1:8 - 5 V. Although there is no voltage on a serviceable board (1697). The measurement was carried out without a lower board with a processor, the problem is exactly in the upper board (I changed it to a serviceable lower board - everything is fine). Which element can be penetrated? Resistance is normal.

All of those pads look like the have enough trace to run a jumper wire to where they lifted, or some pad strips (ic chip solder pads)

hello. the question is not in the restoration of the connector, but in the appearance of voltage, which is absent on a workable board. In this state, as in the photo, I measure the induced voltage on the d-pad keys
