Series X/S 1914 Controller no RSX RSY pad traceback
« on: February 24, 2024, 12:28:17 AM »
Hi everyone new to the forum looking for some expertise, i have a few 1914 controllers all with missing pads and no RSX RSY like theyre completely dead, i've tried to solder to the test points

TP65 - RSY and TP125 RSX

But they're still dead does anyone know where i can jumper wire to so as to get this working again?

Thanks

RSX is TP112

If the trace/via there between the RSY solder joint and TP65 is messed up, then you'll need to jumper from the RSY to the SOC board p13 connection.

If the lines are really dead and the MCU has an issue, then there's no jumpering anything anywhere that will make them work again.

The main board there has some of the pin/pad numbers for that board on it. 1 (dot), 8, 10, 15, 16, 27, 32, 44 and 45, so you're on the right one there.

Also out of interest what pin on the SOC is RSX if TP112 is dead? Thanks

Sorry, didn't see your reply to this until now.

RSX is p15 of the SOC board, the schematic is in the thread that is linked above.
