Security Mod for your PSP Slim
« on: December 03, 2007, 07:55:18 PM »
Hey all check this out... Cyber and I were talking on Friday about his guitar and he gave me a great idea. A switch that would enable you to turn on your PSP without touching it. This would allow you to disable your original PSP switch and replace it with this one... Now you can prevent your little brother or sister from turning on your PSP, or you can have both switches and amaze your friends!!!  :winker:  All you would need becides the switch installed is a small magnet.. Look for the Tutorial posted here tomorrow!

And without delay

i'm sure it must be using a reed switch so that when you move hte metal pic over the switch it pulls the magnet to complete the circuit pressing the strum bar... but i could be wrong

only time will tell

WOW.
I see you are new to the forum, please check out the rules, looks like you need a lot of help lol you posted this in a totally wrong spot. What monster hunter has to do with a security switch mod is beyond me, but you are new, so next time post in an appropriate section.

To hack your psp slim you need to make a pandora battery, and a magic memory stick. I'm sure there are tutorials on the forum for this, if there aren't hit me up with a message, and I'll help you out. You can make the battery through software or hardware methods, and making the MMS is as easy as downloading the appropriate firmware, and selecting it in a program.

And why do you want to cheat at monster hunter freedom 2!?!?!?
All of the monster hunter games are AMAZING, i suggest you start with the first freedom if you haven't already. I started playing when i was about 13, I couldn't beat yian kut-ku until I was fifteen... Then I just picked it up real fast. I turn 17 next month and i have over 600 hours in MHFU, it's emabarrasing, but it is honestly a great game if you take a couple days to learn how to play. I really really really, don't reccomend cheating at it, you're missing out on a great gaming experience, and if you think freedom 2 was good, wait til you play Freedom Unite.

But anywhoo, please send me a message if you need anymore help

no it wouldnt. LCD screens dont have the same structure as regular tv's and so arnt effected the same way as a normal tv.
Although i wouldnt recomend placing the magnet directly on the screen.

In a CRT TV or monitor, there is metal around the outside of the screen's tube.  When a high enough powered magnet gets close to it, it can actually bend the metal, causing permanent damage to the screen. As LCD screens don't use the same metals and electric coils, there is no damage.

As well, your pro duo cards would not be affected by a magnet either. (to nip that in the bud).
