Okay people, time for a little electronics 101.
On polarized electronic components you have two poles to worry about, the negative, and the Positive.
To go into electrochemical and physics terms an Anode (+) and a Cathode (-)
Now, the NEGATIVE which connects to a GROUND or CATHODE circuit is nearly 100% of the time INDICATED in the schematic diagram and ON THE COMPONENTS ITSELF!!! Usually with an arrow (Most Diodes) or a Band (Electrolytic Capacitance)
Ok now, for the beginners section i have started to compile hi resolution super macro images of various electronic components you will encounter plus their schematic symbols side by side for comparison to show you the negative and positive sides until you get a feel for it.
