OMG Cool!

So I walk into school today and I go, oh crap I gots to print my essay. So I go put my jacket away then I walked into the IMC (its what they call our media center/library). Well any how, when I walked in I almost crapped myself. I look at the where the 20 old desktop computers used to sit and I was amazed. Replacing each desktop was one of the brand new Mac's! (I'm talkin bout the ones where the whole computer is in the screen) 20 of them! They were the big screened ones to, the screens must be like 20 inches or something! And to top it off, they are running bootcamp meaning they are running windows! That just put the icing on the cake. LOL, all I have to say is yeah to my school computer techs! woot  :tup:

p.s. those computers are ultra fast! Here's what they look like

my school is poor, we are on crappy dells, that have a 15" crt monitor

its about the size of 2 ps2 the fat kind and the monitor is 15'

One of the techs in my school is a god, he custom made 40 Quadcore PC's with 4 gigs of ram and Dual Video cards (not sure what kind as they were not for gaming) for our Graphic Designing class**.  Probably cost as much as the macs  :winker:  I wonder if they have overheating problems, throwing the monitors next to the motherboards like that

**All the others PC's in the school are custom Dual cores LOL

looks like the last gen macs, nice things they are! lucky you

next year when i move to mass. im most likely going to a public high school that is mac based, and i mean iMacs EVERYWHERE (apple aficianado's dream *_* )

I dont know about overheating, I'm sure they wouldnt cause mac is smart and tests their stuff before they release it. But next time I go in there I'll put my hand by the exhanst fans and see how warm the air is....
