3.80 M33-5 music note button is broken?

Ok uh, I just installed 3.80 M33-5, and now, when I play music and hit the music note, the equalizer doesn't change... Nothing happens. I know it works cause if I hold the button down it mutes the audio, but the EQ doesn't change. Anybody else notice this?

i dont know if im doing something wrong but it hasnt worked for me for many firmwares, does it work for you

LOL how do people not realise these things? Spose it took me 2 years nearly to realise holding the brightness button turns the screen off.

I didn't know that or if you hold the music button, it mutes the PSP. Thanks for the tips. Also, why doesn't it tell you these things in the PSP manual?

It does note those things in the original PSP manual, at least the manual I have from a 1.52 PSP has that information on muting and turning off the screen.
