yea not hard at at it was difficult for me in the vid because i didn't want to hit my cam with my soldering iron

wiat, i think you did it wrong... emphasis on i think , but dont you ave to solder charging led across bottom two pads and then solder the power led horrizontsly, and solder wir eto bottom pad, and then solder that to the top led, not use it on both

what ever you just said confused the hell out of me lol...anyways, could you tell me every single material that I will need to do this because this will be my first psp mod and I don't wanna screw it up (with my luck I will end up having to buy a new psp lol), but I am good with my hands. Also, do you think you could list a good site to get everything from relatively cheap? Oh, great song by the way lol

Screw driver
Tweezers
Scalpel
20Watt Soldering iron + paste
Buttonizer(A way to use the button contact pads, while the faceplate is off)
x1 0603 LED

Alright, I have just one question about this and I remember it being answered way back when but can't find the answer any more.  Do you "desolder" the LEDs or do you "cut" them off the board?  I ask this as a general question, not specifically for this mod, because for this mod you may not care if the LED gets destroyed.  But, I do care if it gets destroyed, because I wanna reuse the LED I take off.  I noticed that you used a knife of some sort (forgot the name of those), but does that destroy the LED, or is it still in tact?  Or perhaps you know a method to remove the LED while keeping it intact?  Any help would be appreciated.

i have questions. does color of the lights change when charging and flash when low battery? what was the tool that you used at the end to light up the LED? it looks like a multimeter. if it was, how did you do it? sorry, but i have 1 last but most important question! what type of tool (i really don't know what its call) that you use to "peel" the wire, 30 awg is way too small for the tool i found. it was nightmare for me, spent most of the time just because of these thin wires.  thank you very much im new at modding and i know i have too many questions asked  thx again

3. i just used the middle part of my needle nose pliers or you could use your teeth or your soldering iron to melt the insulation away

i think the easist way is ur teeth. Just dont bite to hard or you will bite the wire and you will need to try aggain. Then after you bite it you sometime get little peices on it that hang off a little bit, just melt that off using your soldering iron. it is very annoying to do sometime lol.

i see 2 LEDs. if i want them to work just like the original ones do i need to get 2 different colors? and can you tell me which will be blinking one when battery is low? and which will be the battery charging one? thank you
