LED's
« on: February 09, 2008, 02:46:06 PM »
I wanted to know if these are fine to use with a 10 Ohm resistor 1/8 watt

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-50-PCS-0603-SMT-SMD-200-240-mcd-Blue-LED-Free-Ship_W0QQitemZ250168489647QQihZ015QQcategoryZ66948QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

oh and is there any other way instead of scracthing paint off the motherboard to solder the postive point. The PSP's motherboard is TA-79, so instead of having 2 holes to solder the positive point on the board, it has 4 points. Heres a pic

I was also wondering if i can use 30 gauge wire instead of 26 guage, to wire two blue led's to the triggers.

Thank You for ur help and info

a resistor will work with any led

you could put the wire through positive holes or wire to the 5v spot

most people here use 30 gauge including me

but my PSP has 4 holes for the postive instead of 2 like in the picture i posted earlier, but the set of two :: on the right look like they have copper edges so im guessing they are positive
