Carbon Fibre Faceplate?
« on: March 02, 2008, 12:13:41 PM »
Does anyone know where, if applicable, I could purchase either:

1. Carbon fibre Faceplate
2. Mock Carbon Fibre Faceplate
3. Carbon Fibre decal?

If any knows where I could get one of the above it would be greatly appreciated

IndyChav

Edit: I know I could design a carbon decal and get it printed by decalgirl but thats a last resort  :winker:

My dad could make me one most likely if I had a faceplate to sacrifice. Hes a carbon-fiber laminator (not like paper in any way)

there is some stuff you put in water/ gluewater xD and you wait untill it floats perfectly straight on the top of the water

then u push in the object u want the carbon fibre pattern on
u let it dry and u've got the pattern on the object (put some plastic tape or something like that over the screen and u've got the carbon fibre look on the faceplate

they use that stuff for mirrors of cars or parts of the dashboard, dont know the name of it though

To all of you crying about lag and kicks, remember… when Jesus died, took him 3 days to respawn. Now THAT is lag.
