Well I might get some money soon and i was thinking of getting an iphone. I was just wondering what you think the monthly bill would cost. i plan on cracking it and getting all those custom apps. I just want a rough idea because i heard internet and things are really expensive i know things might be a bit different for me then you but a rough idea also what do they charge you for. thx in advance.

if your on an official iphone plan you only get charged for the calls and texts over your allowance that you use as web and internet a free but on unofficial plans you will get charged through the nose for data

i dont understand how you cant just use the wifi with maybe a 3rd party browser or something since how can they charge you for using wifi. maybe like make a switch to disable it sending informtation during internet exploration.

wifi is free its when you use the internet over the gprs/edge connection

o so as long as its only through wifi im good do they charge a base charge or only when you use it? or is that plan individual.

If you stick with AT&T then unless you go over your contract, everything is free, if you jailbreak it and go to another Network, then you have to pay there charges, so if your plannin on using Internet on the GPRS/EDGE network, stick with AT&T

na that was main concern wont be using internet like that 40$ a month plan . Now i need the money.
