adding speakers to psp
« on: March 14, 2008, 09:10:10 PM »
im looking to add speakers to my psp and i tried once by wiring them straight to the black and red wires that are connected to the speakers. no luck, plus i broke one of my wires. so im looking to wire them up directly to the speakers. which two points are the + and - on the speaker? (both speakers please cause sony is stupid and used different colored wires)

Umm do you need a lm386 to make it louder?
having a higher post count doesn't earn respect in the forums, quality posts do.

thanks,

wont make the music harder,
you need a lm386 to make the speakers go harder, it doesnt work without

yea i was sure you needed a lm836 for any speaker mod to run smoothly and in sync.

that's not the problem

the problem is that the psp sends out a certain amount of power to the speakers,
and you cant change that certain amount with a different speaker, it is only possible with a lm386, which is then connected to a speaker
