[POC] New model of Ac to USB charger (without sacrificing USB cable!!!)

not sure if this design has been done before if so tell me and all credits go to them for beating me to it
I was sick of my mates moaning about how the USB charge that i did on there psp was too slow, and when i told them they would need to sacrifice a AC adapter and a USB cable they wern't to keen sooo...
I moddified jrfhoutx USB charger so you can keep the functions of both the original AC adapter and the USB cable. Its very simple,heres how i did this...

Basicly i got a Sickly cheap USB extension lead



cut it in half and wired the female socket to a AC adapter with the charger cut off



then i just pluged in a normal PSP usb cable top the socket and plug that into your psp with USB charge mod



there we go full speed charge while keeping a normaly functioning USB cable. Now if my mate comes round and i need to charge his unmodded psp not much use having a USB charger now sooo... i used the socket from the AC adapter and the male half of the USB cable and wired em together . and hey presto you can charge normal or USB charged PSP at full speed



and this is everything u get for it



yay and i think it can charge anything like ipods and other USB chargable things fast!!! I can get up a POC vid and a tut if anyone wants.

good work and yeah it should work for stuff like ipods, other mp3 players, motorola razers, some other phones and i think a few cameras may even support usb charging

I did this to my DS charger a while ago so that I could charge it from a USB socket and still plug it into the wall if necessary, it makes things easier and you can charge a fair few things with the kind of voltage that these put out
