Dude i liked the aproach u took for this modd, adn yeah all controllers are hackable since they are nuthing but Inputs in a microcontroller activated by a pushbutton so by skiping that and sending H/L voltages u pretty much can do anything.
I notice that u have wired all the buttons but that directional ones, and since PIC1684 has  14 I/O pins  my aproach would be to use the RA4 as an analog input that way u could put as many input buttons that like and still have all the 14 others for Outputs. wich would give u room for the 4 directional arrows wich wold come in handy for a fighting game. Another idea for this would be to have only a certain number of Macrobuttons, and to plug the Analog input to a button control that sets PORTB and the rest of PORTA as input so u could introduce a word of 8bits and 4 bits with a dip switch to introduce new macros to the controller without having to program it again. Im sure u get the idea.
Well i hope some feedbakc men. Im about to do my own macro controller for the new Street Fighter.

Hi,

Is there someone out here who can make a fully programmable/remappable controller?
I ask this because I am paralyzed and cant use the rear buttons.

Offcource I will pay good.

Someone made me this great controller. But I can only reprogram 4 buttons, not all.

Custom reprogrammable Xbox controller

Where is the wiring diagram for he timers?  And how many are there. One of the pics made it look like there are three.

:help: hello i am wondering if with your spitfire mods if i would be able to do the modding on an old matrix wireless board and alos if so would i have to do different coding and wiring. also does this still work especially for cod waw and would u come out with new codes for when mw2 comes out. i would like to know as soon as possible just so tht i know if it is worth while trying to do this mod. i am using this mod basically so tht i can replace the function of the left bumper on my controller if its not possible for me to fix.

just to give heads up the new Splitfire mods will only work on CG controller as well ...
as its a pain to do matrix ... still in protype state .. we may do it for matrix but will not be as easy as CG install wise

Sorry to dig this back up, but I really want to make one! I'm new to PIC programming etc. but have made a rapid fire with a 555 before. So I feel this would be a good place to start getting to know hex code and PIC's a little better.

So a few questions:
1) Any good source for x801769-026 controllers (black)? Want to take full advantage of this mod. I have a brand new (but unwrapped) elite/black controller wireless that is not 026, would be willing to swap it. Or pay a reasonable amount for an 026 and no swap.

2) Is there a tutorial for writing the hex codes anywhere? Or an index of codes for multiple games, COD4, MW2, Bad Company 2 and Flashpoint is mainly what I'm after. Love the idea of hot-swapping PIC's for different games.

3) Nothing more was ever mentioned about the extra pins (20pin socket) other than the original post that said you were going to use them for "an input for changing modes on the chip"

Thanks for the help, happy modding,

Fordy.

Yo what's up fellow modders.  Just wondering on how the spitfire is going.  I have successfully built three controllers using top's code  as well as purchasing 2 intensafire kits.  I really love the idea of remapping the face buttons and from a COD MW2 perspective having reload and melee under ya fingertips combined with rapid fire is the optimus prime of control pads.

Wow sorry to drag on, so yeah just looking forward to some feed back on a new tut.

PS. Is there anyway t0p's code will work on the 12f675, I get samples all the time and these were sent to me accidentally instead of what I actually needed (12f683)
Thanks in advance
