Games and homebrew won't load
« on: April 07, 2008, 03:56:15 PM »
Yea, for some reason half the time the games and homebrew I use on my PSP won't load. More then half, almost always. I just have to keep resetting until it does load.
I think it's because I have a bad UMD drive, but I'm not too sure. Anyone else have this problem?
It's not just ISOs, it's also updates and whatnot. I can't update my PSP, it just hits 99% then goes back down to 85% then back up to 99% and repeat.

Any idea what could be wrong? Currently running 3.71MM3.

By the way, I did remove my UMD drive, then put it back in. Games seem to load more often when it's in then not, but they're still barely ever going past the PSP loading screen.

you should update to 3.90 m33 -3 then install the 3.93 patch. also install timemachine if you have a slim.
get most of it from here.
http://www.dark-alex.org/
then go to dl.qj.net
and type 3.93 and you should see the 3.93 update.

also to get the OFW to put on the root f the memory card go here.

now if still probs you need to run keycleaner and Idstorage

I think that updating would help, it's just the fact that it doesn't take. It just keeps doing that.

How the heck do I use this, and what is a despertar el camenlento or whatever it is? I have a pandora's battery, if that's all it needs. Also, I tried your idea (Formatting the mem stick and just putting the update on it) and the same thing happened, if it was formatted via Windows and the PSP.
Tried it with 2 different memory sticks and no such luck :[

But really, how do you use this tool? I'm confused.
