Is it possible to put Ipod memory into psp

Before you say anything I was reading up on https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=13678.0 tut and I thought to my self what about the poor people like me who can't spend 60$ at the moment for that 4GB datel hard drive what is you took the 4, 8, or even 30 GB out of an Ipod that no one wants or is broken rewire it into the psp and config it so it runs as a normal memory card?????? Is this possible or not please answer fast because I'm starting to customize my psp.

You're just starting to customise your PSP? Then my answer for you at the moment is no, not even in the slightest, unless you happen to know a fair bit about how interfacing between these different things is done and have a PIC controller programmed to do exactly what you want and need it to.

On the flip side though, yes it probably can be done but it is by no means as easy as it sounds and no one has done it this particular way yet, take a look around at a few other threads and you'll see the heartbreak that people are going through trying to get extra memory working and these are people that have been around here a while and know (we assume!!) for the most part what they're doing

Wow that money issue sucks. Lucky for me I'm still in school so i find things cheaper there. Well thanx i know im a nub its in my name so i can here hope to learn stuff probbaly in the future i will learn how to do it when i get a broken i ipod for like 20$

hmm there is a rival Ghost in town . ne way no current way is realesed at the moment. A way was realesed then hidden again by PvP many have tryed this tho :P

I didn't ask how just wondering if it were possible and since that was a yes then it comes down to trial and error for if you learn something yourself you have an edge over people than people start coming to you. And when you have that you have power to manipulate people to your own will. For example everyone is freaking out because pvp is gone.

but wouldn't read times of the hdd be WAY too slow to be practical? Even if you do get it working, im not sure how useful it would be.

Got a theory but it requires someone to write a program for me.

         I do realize that the memory capacity is 32GB but i was wonder (because i have a 30GB ipod HD) if you use the datel 4GB mod but instead on the 4GB HD replace it with the 30GB. But for poor people like me what if you rewire the 32MB memory stick to the HD and do the datel 4GB mod but with your own home made connecter. 2 problems for me though is that 1. i dont know the specs for either the memory card nor the 30GB and 2. the HD would have to be formated so that it could have a mask on it appearing to be a 4GB.

       After looking at version of the mod i started to wonder if he just hacked the ipod change the configuration and rewired the USB cable to the HD tho work as an independent HD like any other external HD but the only difference was that the HD was rewired into the power source (or got the power from the USB port to run it) my only concern  is that how was the HD formated and how was the USB cable wired?????
