cfw 3.40 oe-a needing missing files

       As part of my first cfw 3.40oe-a post, I've come to possibly realize that in order to return back to 3.40oe-a from 3.71m33, I would need to locate and down load the neccessary files into a magic memory stick. Not to forget that I already have a pandora battery in place. Now, if any AcidModders out there believe that this information is found to be wrong, then please come forward and guide me in the right path, perhaps by sending me a link with the neccessary files or instructions. Thanks Again....

just use pandora u have and go to 1.5 instead then go up to the one u want

    Thank you Folklord36 for your time and help but I'm not quite sure what you really mean when saying "go to 1.5 instead then go to the one you want". The pandora battery I have, I purchased it a while ago together with a 1gb magic stick already set up with 3.71-M33 files. To use the pandora battery for downgrading, don't you need to use a magic stick with the neccessary files or can you downgrade just with the pandora battery alone? If so, how can I accomplish this proccess? Please explain. Thank You....

Recovery to 1.50 Using these recovery files:
Direct 3.40OE-A Recovery

Then U can update back to 3.40OE-A.

I would suggest U update to a newer firmware like 3.52M33-4 or 3.71M33-4.

Power off your PSP by holding the power button for 10 sec.
Then HOLD the "R" trigger and turn the PSP on.
When the Recovery Mode turns on:
Press "X" Toggle USB -ON- Copy the RECOVERY folder to the GAME folder.
Press "X" Toggle USB -Off-
(Plug in your AC Charger battery needs to be at 75% or more.)

U CAN also just press X on the Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP then right away HOLD "L" Trigger and Triangle button and it will bypass the 75%
battery Check.

Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP and press "X"
It will ask U to agree and press "X"

DONE!

First U will need to run the kxploitpatcher since your on 1.50.

Copy kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher% folders from "1.50only/" of this download to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME/" and use it.

Then just use this:

3.52M33 & M33-4 Update:

Copy the M33UPDATE_352 to ms0:/PSP/GAME and Copy the M33Update4 to ms0:/PSP/GAME150 folder and launch the 3.52M33 installer.

(Plug in your AC Charger battery needs to be at 75% or more.)
(U CAN also Just HOLD "L" Triggre and Triangle button and press X on the 3.52M33 installer and it will bypass the 75% battery Check.)

Then U need to go into Recovery Mode:

Power off your PSP by holding the power button for 5 seconds.
Then HOLD the "R" trigger and turn the PSP on.
When the Recovery Mode turns on:
Go into Configuration:
Set your Game folder kernel to 1.50 (It will be 3.52)
Press "X" on back
Press "X" on Exit


Then use the M33-4 Update.

DONE!

    Thank You Electro for your help on this important issue. Together with what you provide and additional 3.71 M-33 recovery files that I hand, I was able to bring my psp back to 3.40 OE-A. You are the man.

       Well, about a year ago, I purchased the psp fat, new, as a bundle pack with cfw 3.40 OE-A with GPS(mapthis) included together with a dozen of different types of emulators,games, web apps.,programs, accessories, etc...I know this is a bit out of fashion but I personally like it. Besides, I have another psp fat that has cfw 3.90 M-33 already set up. Loving it.
