hey,i need some help with a slim i've been asked to look at by someone at work,his boy got it for christmas and has pretty much mullered it :beg:why do some people have no sense of respect.
anyway the rear door has been pulled right off so it would need a full case.
but the umd drive isn't doing anything,i used pandora to install 3.71 m33 to see what happened when i tried to load off the mem card-it wouldn't load with a disc in holding the switch down,but when i set it to no umd in recovery it loaded ok.
now my fat still spins the umd up,even whan loading off the memcard,so which is more likely,the drive not reacting to the mobo when the switch is pressed,or the switch being faulty,i mean the switch looks intact an all that.
also does anyone know-does the little bracket that ejects the disc/stop the door opening too far come with a coolmods clear case,or with a new drive?
