the best firmware is a matter of opinion,depends on what you like to do with the firmware.
if all you use your psp for is umd games than any ofw will work.but if you want to play iso/cso emulators and homebrew you need cfw.all cfw is good but some offer options that other dont have like net radio and skype.some are better for flashing themes and custom intros and such so it realy depends on what you prefer and what you plan on doing.

I like a few custom firmwares personally I can't just have one favorite lol...

anyone try'd that new 3.93 CFW its aiiiight I just like the screenshot thingy on it lolz...

Custom Gameboots are the shizzzz nit too....

Really depends what you're doing. If you're using official firmwares, use the latest one, but they're limited in the fact that they can only play umds and nothing like homebrew or isos. If you're using custom firmware, 3.90 m33 has the newest functions, but doesn't have as many themes and i believe Cintro won't work on it, so if you want to softmod your psp with Cintros, themes, and the like, 3.52 m33 or 3.71 m33 is the way to go.

 :cool: try the cutom firmware by team m33(dark alex and friends) called m33, they are CFW but have features like official ones and they updates almost as much as sony  :victory:

I think the best firmware is the original that the Sony corporation put on to the psp(jk) but seriously i think it would be a CFW that best suit the personality of the user.

its 3.90 m33-3. u can do soo many things on it. btw u can have a CIntro on it. i have the fast and furious Cintro on my psp. u can even skip it by pushin X. *cough* go for 3.90 m33-3 *cough* *cough* :tup:
