Modded PSP Phat for stock black slim

I have modded my fat psp with 7 ultra bright blue leds. 4 Are sound reactive and activated by wifi switch. The other 3 are the indicators. Mod is very clean and psp is perfectly functional. Stock battery and stock 32mb card included. 3.90 m33-3 with 1.5patch and matching custom theme already installed.

I am not actually selling this psp, but if I were would that be a good trade? Also what could I do to increase its value?

1st song is a custom song made in PSP Rhythm, second is Bout ta Bubble by bloodhound gang then the last song is coffee shop by young joc I think

did u use the lm386 or direct connection. i only did the direct connection with just leds in the triggers. can u do the direct connection and just add more leds??

I have tried 2 LEDs per speaker. I haven't tried more cuz I don't want to pull too much power from the speakers.

Go for the LM386 sound mod because it runs from a 5v source allowing you to use more LED's, but looks great

Sorry for loosing my thread. At first I used the recommended resistors, but my leds were dim, not very reactive, and sloppy. So I tore down my psp and undid EVERYTHING, then redid things with new brighter leds, cleaner installation, and I tried it with no resistors. I firgured since you needed 191k and 30 ohm resistor for the tutorial which only used 2 leds, that Id be fine without any resistors for 4 leds. They are bright and very reactive now, and they have not burnt out.

I discovered the higher pitched sound you play the more the lm386 chip will amplify the sound. At 100% amplification you would get 5v and at 75% amplification your right above 3.6v which is good for most blue leds. Now unless your playing the mosquito ringtone (16,000 Hz) or more you should be fine. (I have played the mosquito ringtone on my setup and none of the leds blew) I tested the output of the lm386 with no resistors on an average song(whats that?) and the voltage peaked at just under 2.5V. I just thought I would share what I found
