for anyone that says he uses a bot, please gtfo. not sure if you are aware of it but bots cant press notes before the notes are on the noteboard. not sure if this should be in spam and chat but if it is supposed to sorry.

i dont know why people think that if you can play guitar hero good then you can play the guitar. i can play expert on guitar hero, but that doesnt mean if i pick up a real guitar i'll be the next slash.

same here i have been playing acoustic most of my life and electric for 2 years and i cannot get guitar hero cracking easy... its so hard!!!

I don't believe it, Not only did he just do 100%, He was playing on hypermode like 4 or 5, That's just incredible. My hat's off to you Chris, I could never do that.

ya i know. i can only get like 273k (my high score today) on normal with hyperspeed 5. if i even get past the intro i'll be happier than him

EDIT: woohoo!! got past the intro using the controller! im not really as happy as i thought i would be but im still happy and amazed

im pretty sure even herman li would be impressed by this, he can only make 2% before phailing

its does seem to be the trend that real guitarists/bassists struggle with GH initially

but if reaper knows his

(which he always does) then my hats off to this guy

if your good at sweep picking actually you'd be really good at this cos thats usually 4-5 fret movements really fast

I play acoustic/electric/bass although i dont have an electric lol

My acoustic is a washburn lyon, i mostly use it for writing electric riffs that i try on my friends electric but also for ambient/harmonics work

but im mainly a bottom feeder

im upgrading all the time but atm im just running a customised SX cobra through a 15 watt amp with a Boss ME-20B, Digitech Bass Whammy and guyatone vt-3 tremolo and tech 21 killer wail wah

im getting a schecter stilletto extreme-4 and fender rumble 100 watt soon though as well as the following effects (but this will take a while to afford, i buy a pedal every now and again so im slowly building up lol)

DOD FX-72 Stereo Bass Flanger
Boss Chorus Ensemble
Boss DD-3 Delay
Digitech XBD Distortion
Guyatone WR-3 wah rocker
and probably more

As for experience ive been playing acoustic since i was about 9/10 but stopped for 2 years in the middle somewhere to take up flute (REALLY helped my left hand technique) and have been a bottom feeder for about 4/5 years

lol that kinda weird, herman made the song, but he cant even play it on gh3. i think that anybody can beat this song, all you have to do is practice. it took me like 30 tries till i finally beat the intro, and now i cant even beat it anymore. i think ill just stick to zelda

to be honest i think the only way herman li doesnt do well on gh3 is because ITS NOTHING LIKE PLAYING A REAL GUITAR!!!ppl play gh for 2 years for 25 hours a day and they can complete t3h ub3r35t t00nz on speeds that generate heat excessive of the sun,then pick up a guitar and they suck,i've been playing guitar 5 years and im nowhere near the point where my guitar skillz be complete,i do play guitar hero admittedly and am very good at it,but in no way does it replicate the real experience of playing a guitar,trying not to flame peeps who play gh (being one of them myself...but i play guitar too) but its not a "guitar simulation",its a video game....so treat it like one rather than it being an instrument in itself,if u are a guitar hero enthusiast,you should learn to play guitar,even teach yourself some songs on the guitar,its like playing air guitar,theres only a certain point to which a simulation can simulate

ive been playing gh for like half a year and i want to learn how to play guitar but my mom wont let me get one cause she will smash my guitar if i wake her up with it.

lol just get some headphones or an acoustic,,,i play real guitar and it is way funner than guitar hero,plus i hate the fact that people think i should be good at gh because i play guitar almost as much as i hate when people think they can play guitar because they are good at gh,its like saying "im good at gran tourismo,,let me drive your indy car ",lol
