switched led mod!
« on: June 08, 2008, 09:26:28 PM »
so today i started and finnished my first mod
i did the led buttons, triggers, and blue power light
but i wanted to be able to turn them off so i could save my battery
so i can either have them light up when the system turns on, or not
here are the pictures!

one you can see in this one that the switch is where the strap is supposed to go

also, these were all run on 1 power source
*thanks to acid mods for these ideas!!*

yeh your aloud to post your console and mods however you like. the thing we dont like is when people make a topic asking a question that has been asked a 100 times before. we love to see modders at work and anything they do as with each mod there is a slight difference in how it looks or its placement which in the end will go towards people learning new things and thus a modding nirvana where people use the perfect placements and the best point and parts etc. its all about community and contribution. and in the process having loads of fun

hope that helped answer your questions and further your understanding.

Have a nice day from your local administrator

Bad contact? Weak Soldering Joint?LED blew up somehow? It could be a number of things, but I'd take into the first 2 things I said there into consideration.

i figured it was the soldering... which it turns out it was, but i was just wondering if it were the case that almost no matter how good the connection, it would it just be prone to breaking again?
