PC & PSP Controller
« on: June 28, 2008, 11:48:18 PM »
Hi well using remote joy and ppjoy and lots of other crap i have got my Wiimote to act as a mouse, but with lots more buttons.

because i can use my Wiimote with my pc it allows me to map it to the relevant buttons that remote joy uses as i wish so that i can use it to controll my psp.

the next stage i was thinking of would be a 360 or a ps3 controller.

i am going to get either of these two packages, they both add up to be £43 so my descision is based on what you guys say.

360 Package:
Controller: LINK

PC Adapter: LINK

PS3 Package:
I already have a blue tooth adapter that will work as im using it for my Wiimote.
Controller: LINK

Keypad: LINK

so yes this is psp related and here is my question(s).

Which should i get?
What are the pro's and con's for each?

bear in mind that this descision will effect which one of these consoles that i buy

thanks

p.s. do you think this could be made internal, with no interface through the pc?

I think you should by the ps3 package.  It uses the same interface as the psp so there won't be any comptibility problems. I dont know if you'll be able to get the sixaxis support to work with the psp unless you mapped it as another analog stick.

the reason we can't connect it to directly to the psp is the same reason we can't connect a hard drive directly to the psp. the psp is a slave, we need it to be a host to do this kind of stuff, hence the reason for the HOST computer
