Help! button is stuck....?

Hey,i bought this psp in October 2007 and its been playing up lately...
I cant even pick it up without it saying do you want to quit the game?
i have official frimware 4.01 and it did this even with my older firmwares
it can do everything a normal psp can do but when playing a game it just says "do you want to quit the game?". If i turn it upside down it does the same thing

open up your psp and clean it. it should fix the problem

yeah. try cleaning it inside..
or maybe the flex of the home buttons are stuck..

yea first clean it and try reconnecting everything like the ribbin cables. make sure nothing is loose
