How to replace power switch

Hey everyone I am new here and I was wonder how do i change out the power switch that broke on me. I have sereach all the forms here look at the mother board for DS lite. Can you tell me by looking at the motherboard which leds do I desolder? Plus what do i need to watch out for when i am taking it off and putting a new one on?

Power SWITCH or power LED? You mentioned both...

For the Switch, just desolder it from the motherboard and solder the new one on the same way the old one was. Pretty simple. As for the LED, someone else will need to tell you the orientation, I'm not familiar with the DSL mobo yet.

for the power led you desolder the top one. when you desolder it note which way the T points and that side is negative, if the led melts off like mine did just test it with a multimeter or touch the led on to the contacts.
Lots of gaming stuff but too lazy to mention =]
