if you can, get a red trim to go with the case. coolmods maybe able to place one on ethe case of you as a custom job, but i'm not sure.

does coolmods accept custom trims that you want?

I was planning on buying red and black from DX... but they don't have the smoke black case that I want...

My plan is Smoke Black, Red Trim and buttons then LED on buttons and Triggers...

Can anyone confirm if CoolMods do custom trims that you want...

thanx redryno for posting those pics and yes i plan to put red smd's in the L and R buttons,red ring,and a few other surprises :)

Wow tats looking so slick.
cant wait for my case to arive looks like we will have the same one the smoked black :)
I plan to use Duplicolor metalcast black on my trim ring and sholder buttons. they do make a red and it would look killer if you used that on your buttons.
It's a transparent paint so it won't effect the LED's your planning to install

Where did you get the red nub from as i am having trouble finding one. I can find all of the colours exept red and i dont want to start my case swap without it =P

I painted the nud red. I got the paint from "HobbyTown USA" using tomiya color, think i spelled it right.

dude, that's a great psp. is similer to the one i made two days ago (black crystal/blue). are you going to add leds to the umd door? if so, i'd recommend drilling a very shallow hole where you want to put them. when i first added them they were very dull, but after drilling and replacing the leds, they were fine.

Its called i posted the Link like a week ago and then i had 2 days left before it ended,

this will be one of the last updates for my psp project, as im moving over to my wii....ohhh yeah giggity giggity goo :0
the psp is done just needs a led in the umd door
well here's some more pics ive finally exposed my wiring....along with the 1/0 switch for the triggers its hidden down in the umd door its hard to see
