Halo 3 rapidfire???

hey, i have just found out about modding, and am really interested in it all. i read that it doesnt work for halo3, stating that bungie controlls how fast the guns fire. is this true? would there be any difference between the wiredinput.com ones and others from the rip off sites?

rapid fire does not work as well in halo3 as it does in COD4. the best thing that happens is a turret starting up faster, chopper is the only vehicle with weapons that shoots fast, and the BR is constantly shooting.

so is the vid fake? or is it a specially programmed halo chip? (like the COD ones i see on here)

on an automatic weapon such as the smg the rapid fire can actually slow it down. but for weapons that overheat such as the flamethrower you can get twice the flames without overheating. and the vid is pretty much "real"

You know, I always read that the rapid fire was useless in H3. But then I seen that same vid a week ago. Gamermodz has a good mod, because the vid clearly shows no sputtering and the accuracy is really improved.
