Rapid fire assigned to different buttons?

Hey guys I did a search to see if this topic had been covered, but nothing turned up, so hopefully this is not a repost. I was wondering anyone has been able to asign rapid fire to other buttons such as "A" "B" "X" "Y"? if so where are the pins located? I tried to do the "A" button but it was acting weird, a mixture of "A" and the D-Pad. Anyone with a any info would be great, thanks

you probably could do this but you would have to like rewire your controller just like how u make it permantly southpaw or lefty you know it will take a long time to probably but if you use a for something what are you going to put for what usually is a or b or y or x etc

I still want to use "A" normally, but i want to add a rapid "A" button, I just need to know the pin on the board to trigger.

Ok I read both posts, this can only be done with the PIC16F84A ? I just orderd mine yesterday so I guess I'll wait until I get them. Will this only work with COD4? Thanks

the hex code you download from here is made to work with cod4, but you can program the chip to work with any button combination you want with what game you want.
