SERIOUS VISTA PROBLEM , need help ASAP *FIXED*

ok, i tried to open my control panel out of the blue to uninstall somthing..it wont open

explorer crashes every time i try

i rebooted to try and fix. no go


now NOTHING in explorer will open, it just crashes

need help asap

i have tried disabling third party shells and bluetooth
i have googled options for 3 hours
i can't afford a reinstall, i dont have a windows backup (this NEVER happened before)

Try safe mode, then system restore. If that doesn't work, do you have the install disk? If you do, the boot into it and system restore. If you don't have that, or the system restore doesn't fix it, I'm thinking maybe a virus corrupted windows explorer o_O. If nothing works, I'll upload mine for you.

in case you don't know how to get into safe mode u hit F8 at startup

explorer works fine in safe mode, but i dont have a restore point saved, so that does no good

Windows automatically creates them when you install big programs and such.

the recovery point took up enough space to not allow crysis...deleted it and disabled and i was able to install crysis

what kind of important files? what would they do?

I mean just like, if you want me to, I'll RAR and upload some system files for you. Like a complete backup of System32 or something.Then you can boot into osx and copy the files over from the rar into system32, or something...idk.

*edit* Uhm...it's not letting me RAR sys32. It wont give me access to Rar it.

it says the fault module is MSIE.dll...

thanks for your help though

it was some plugin issue with a DLL from a program i never used... i guess it went bad...anyway i uninstalled it and viola

my 5 hours of frustration all for nawt D:
