ipod problem?
« on: September 05, 2008, 03:56:26 AM »
Hey all,
I...well my brother has a 5.5 gen ipod video w/ 30GB hard drive and he is having some troubles with his headphone jack...
I went ahead bought him a new headphone jack and a new battery put them in and still he had the same problem with the head phone jack. I was wondering what I should do, should I check all the contact points resolder to connector or what???

Yeah you should check all contact points and then resolder, and if that still doesn't work, maybe it's your mobo. Have you tried different headphones?

Sorry for the slight bump, but what was the problem?
No sound? How'd you fix it?

What was the board that finally made it work if it wasn't the sound board?
