REQUEST: ps2 controller to keyboard/mouse mod

i wanted to play some fps on the ps2 (e.g. black, darkwatch) but they aren't supported by usb keyboards and mouse. so i wanted to open up my dualshock2 controller and mod/solder some buttons in order to make a keyboard-like interface. i plan to make this using buttons found on most switches that resemble keyboard buttons and mount all of this onto a wooden "table".... so can anyone give me some pointers about a dualshock2 schematic? thanks a bunch guys.
