ok, ive heard and see this new xbox 360 dashboard that is supposed to be coming out but does anyone actually know when its coming out????

yeah, but personally i think this dashboard is a rip off from PS3, and Wii's "Dashboards"

IMO i like the blade layout they way it is

they jus sent every1 msgs on how the first of the updates are on the 29th they're prep updates so the big will go nice n smooth

yep, live is down today, but im checking on xbox.com and i cant find anything on an actual up-date just whatever their doing today

so yeah, ill find out early tomorrow (around 3:00am eastern, or 12:00am pacific)

Well I heard from a person who heard from a person who heard from his cousin... well, you get the point... That the update comes out in November, so your probably right about it being a promotional "gift" for people getting an Xbox for Christmas. I think you should have an option to keep the original or change to the new one and be able to switch back and forth whenever you want.

I was on the phone with microsoft due to another RRD on my back up 360..LOL.. no seriously...anyway he stated it was down yesterday to put in some of the background programing for the "fall" update. but would not come off any more info.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. its not like we can do anything about it anyway.

but yea it looks like a rip from the wii dashboard. figures microsoft steals or buys all their

name one origional idea that actually came from microsoft?? good luck and if you say windows I will laugh so hard I might believe it...no I wont..LOL

lol, your right about microsoft stealing ideas...it seems that the new dashboard is taking the wii's concept and adding some of the stuff rumored to be on the ps3 server and mixing it up to make their own

Anyone can get the nxe now, but it's not a public beta release and all. You're temp banned from Live until it's ACTUALLY released on the 19th, yes.

It's not worth it yet. Just wait 2 more weeks.

I had the update on my desktop and I was gonna update to it, but I used live a ton so that would've...sucked for me.
