OMG I have a bad ZIP file..... CRC errors

OK  I need a suggestion here.   Long before most of you were around I used to run a Wildcat BBS.. So the other day I was re-living my younger days and I restored my BBS from get this a tape drive... (Yeah I said tape). OK so it restored fine but when I backed it up in 1994 I must have had deleted a file that I need because its not even on the backup...

So I have floppy disks too and on the floppy is a zip file that has the much needed files.. I thought I was saved!!!!

until I tried to extract the file... Now I know they have ZIP repaire tools but have any of you tried to use them??? DO THEY REALLY WORK????

i use the cracked winrar its has repair tools and password tools and works a treat

Thanks for your input. I had tried freeware WINRAR but that didn't fix anything. So after more umm. searching I found a *cough* copy of a zip repair tool and was able to fix said file... So, keep an eye out for a companion HTP/FTP/TELNET site for AM???  First I have to talk to Cyber and finish my studies but I think I might set something up and offer small ftp accounts and even email address. Lucky for you I have a business grade Internet connection and all the servers and backup power that every Fortune 500 company can offer. That is until BMW fires me  :faint:

awsome and they wont fire you your to valuble and if you think your not steal bosses emails and blackmail them
